Bunty & Co. is situated in the heart of the quaint market town of Pocklington on the outskirts of York. With its refreshing mix of sophisticated tailoring, pretty occasion dresses, quirky casuals, simply to-die-for shoes, and unusual handbags and jewellery, it is every girl’s shopping dream!

Opened on 12th August 2006 by former first class honours degree textile design graduate, Nicola Scott, Bunty & Co. boutique is a treasure trove of all things beautiful, a home-from-home where customers can feel relaxed and browse at leisure. If you’re lucky you might even get a lovely cup of tea whilst you shop!

Nicola, or Bunty to her friends, wanted to create a completely unique shopping experience for busy professional women and young mums to escape to, even just for a few minutes, where they could browse, pamper themselves, and play ‘dress up’ in the comfort of a homely atmosphere.

Shopping at Bunty & Co. is like browsing around a beautiful French house, with Louis XVI fireplace and chaise longue piled with velvet cushions on the ground floor, and a luxurious boudoir-style dressing room upstairs. An ornate carved French armoire on the first floor displays a beautiful selection of limited edition prom dresses and occasion dresses designed by young British designers, and Bunty & Co. prides itself in showcasing the talents of up-and-coming Yorkshire labels, including Blonde And Wise, Trout And Pout and Love Our Stuff. Browsing around Bunty’s house, you can find fabulous collections by Lisa Jayne Dann (Leeds Retail Awards Independent Designer of the Year), Andersen & Lauth, Numph, Peoples Market and Yumi to name but a few, as well as quirky pieces by Bunty & Co.’s in-house label. Customers can also enjoy a selection of jeans by SOS and Paige Premium Denim, footwear by UGG Australia, H by Hudson and Poetic Licence, and accessories by Angel Jackson, Nica, Jocasi and Johnny Loves Rosie.

The boutique is also able to offer made-to-measure garments for that special occasion, with the help of talented designer and good friend of Bunty, Lisa Jayne Dann. Bunty also encourages customers to rummage through her dressing table drawers filled with pampering beauty products by Rose & Co.

Amongst the crystal chandeliers, cherubs and butterflies fly in the ceiling, making the boutique an angelic haven for every young woman who wants to enjoy the kind of unique shopping experience that Bunty & Co. offers.
