24seven’s Charity Ball & Fashion Show, Pages 6-9

It was Saturday September 22nd, the venue was Lazaat’s of Cottingham
and the atmosphere was electric; what event am I talking about? 24seven’s second Charity Ball and Fashion Show.

This year the ball was bigger and better than it had been the previous year and I am certain all who attended will certainly agree. Guests arrived dressed to impress to champagne and canapés and admired the beautifully decorated marquee. Once seated, the starter of a scrumptious four-course meal arrived while solo performer Mike Rogers wowed the crowds with his guitar playing and singing, getting the night off to a fantastic start. In between courses a fashion show took place which was choreographed by Michelle Blackford from the Pink Elephant Agency (and Nicola Scott, owner of Bunty & Co. boutique), and included some fantastic clothes from an array of local and further a field stores including Dias, Bunty & Co., Classique Boutique, Len Beck, Casa d’Italia, Crave and Andrew & Rogers sunglasses. The clothes were stunning and the models fantastic, putting on a brilliant show with some energetic and admirable dance moves to boot.

Once the fashion show had ended, Barry from Coaching for Hope took to the stage to explain what the charity was about and why it needed our support…

(The evening also included a charity auction and raffle, as well as a guest appearance from Shine who managed to get everyone onto their feet and to the dance floor. There was also a luxurious chocolate fountain on offer for the entire evening!)

…As I am one hundred percent certain everyone who had the pleasure to attend the event will agree, the entire night was a complete success.
